Now that “Oklahoma!” has closed, I have resolved to get better about updating my calendar and newsletter, starting tomorrow of course. Tonight I will be playing some music by the wonderfully talented and wonderfully just wonderful Lainie Pfefferman. I’ll be playing her portrait piece for me, “I Was Hooked” for the first time in public and also a little thing with James Moore and Lainie herself, then James will be playing the portrait piece she wrote for him. Also our friend Caroline Shaw will be doing something with So. It’s going to be a mellow good time, and it’s on our friends So Percussion’s low key fantastic Brooklyn Bound series. Come out if you have a case of the Thursdays!
